KLP48 has identified the creation, publication, and circulation of unauthorised social
media postings containing AI-generated content and/or images involving KLP48
members. Such content has caused serious harm, distress, and reputational damage
to the members concerned.

KLP48 strongly condemns these actions. The creation and dissemination of such
content may constitute defamation, harassment, impersonation, and misuse of
technology, and may be in breach of applicable Malaysian laws.

These actions have adversely affected the reputation, dignity, and interests of the
affected members, KLP48 as an organisation, and the wider 48 Group.

We hereby urge the perpetrator(s) responsible to immediately delete all such postings
and to cease any further dissemination of harmful or misleading content.

KLP48 takes this matter seriously and reserves the right to take legal action to protect
its members, staff, and organisation. This may include, but is not limited to, lodging
formal complaints with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission
(MCMC) and pursuing other remedies available under the law.

KLP48 is committed to safeguarding the dignity, safety, and rights of all its members
and staff.
