KLP48 hereby announces that four members - Cocoa (Kokoa Kai), Suzuha (Suzuha Yamane), Haruka (Haruka Kurosu), and Yurina (Yurina Gyoten) - will conclude their activities with KLP48 effective 28 February 2026.

On 28 December 2025, KLP48 successfully opened its dedicated theatre. With this significant milestone, the group will enter a new phase centred on regular theatre performances, which are among the most essential and defining activities within the AKB48 Group.

As KLP48 prepares to advance into this next stage, with theatre performances forming a core pillar of its artistic direction, these four members have played an indispensable role in supporting and building the group during the period leading up to the theatre’s completion. Their efforts were instrumental in establishing the strong foundation upon which KLP48 now stands.

Since KLP48’s debut on 18 August 2024, Cocoa, Suzuha, Haruka, and Yurina have walked alongside the group throughout its formative years. Both on stage and behind the scenes, they have guided and supported first and second-generation members, contributing greatly to the development of KLP48’s spirit, discipline, and values. Their dedication and presence represent an irreplaceable chapter in the group’s history.

With the completion of this important chapter and as KLP48 moves forward into its next phase, the group has reached a natural turning point at which the four members will each embark on new journeys of their own.

Following the conclusion of their KLP48 activities, Cocoa will return to STU48, while Suzuha, Haruka, and Yurina will return to AKB48, where they will continue their respective careers.
